Centre for Adolescent Mental Health Prevention and Intervention (YM) is going to conduct a training workshop with “Understanding self-harm behavior among adolescents and treatment using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy”. You are cordially invited to attend the captioned workshop. Its details are as follows:

Content 

  • Describing the characteristic features of self-harming behavior among adolescents. 
  • Discussing the relationships between self-harming behavior; Depressive Disorders;Borderline Personality Disorder; and Trauma- and Stressor- Related Disorders. 
  • Introducing Dialectical Behavior Therapy as a form of treatment for self-harming behavior. 

Format 

  • Seminar and case discussion. 
  • Role play DBT exercises.
