Service Contents
Service Objectives:
Provide "one-stop" vocational rehabilitation services for people with disabilities. Through diversified training programs and life-balanced activities, students can gradually improve their work skills and realize their potential; Students are successfully employed.
The service content of Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Services Centre quota:
- Vocational rehabilitation assessment for service users in formulating person-centred and individual rehabilitation plan with regular review;
- Basic training programmes in respect of self-care, life skills, social and communication skills, emotions and stress management, budgeting and life planning;
- Advanced training programmes for service users to develop potentials and talents, and prepare for supported or open employment;
- Engage and maintain a network of potential employers including private companies and social enterprises that offers job attachment, job trial and open employment opportunities for service users;
- Employment-related training and coaching, job finding and matching, job attachment and job trial;
- On-the-job coaching and supervision, job-related guidance, post-placement service, social and recreational activities, and family life education activities for service users, their families and job providers; and
- Tailor-made activities and nursing care services for service users who can no longer perform normal work tasks owing to old age or decline in work abilities through the Work Extension Programme (WEP).
*Note: There is no employer-employee relationship between the service units and the service users.

Service Object:
Intellectually disabled/Persons in mental recovery/other disabled persons aged 15 or above

Application procedure:
Applicants may be referred by professionals such as social workers or apply by themselves.
Service charges:
Free
(Attendance allowance or training allowance will be paid to trainees attending designated training according to the standard determined by the Social Welfare Department).
The service content of work extension programme quota:
Service Objectives:
Provides services include work activities for sustaining residual work abilities, social and developmental programmes and caring activities for meeting the health and physical needs of trainees who could no longer perform normal work tasks due to old age or deterioration in work abilities.
Eligibility for the Service:
Persons with disabilities who are:
1. Trainees aged 40 or above (trainees aged 60 or above would be accepted for the programme with no requirement of assessment; for those aged 40-59, occupational therapist's assessment is required); and
2. In need of day care services other than vocational training due to old age or deterioration in work ability.
